Government Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic for Artificial Intelligence

Slovakia should not
just use AI, but
create it.

I coordinate Slovakia’s national policy on artificial intelligence and represent the country on the European Artificial Intelligence Board. I connect public administration, business, research and international partners to turn good ideas into practical projects that benefit people and the Slovak economy.

01 / Vision

We have a lot to build on.

We have industry, universities and people we can build on. My role is to help create the conditions for their knowledge and skills to turn into new products, better public services and a stronger Slovak economy.

With every initiative, I ask who will use it, what it will improve and how we will verify its benefits. Working with partners in Slovakia and abroad, I look for shared interests and a path to projects that can actually be delivered.

02 / Priorities

What matters to me.

I focus on areas where artificial intelligence can strengthen the Slovak economy, improve public services and open up new opportunities for people and businesses.

AI that delivers

I support the use of artificial intelligence in industry, public services and everyday work. Even at the pilot stage, we need to know what should improve, how we will measure it and what the total costs are. Quality, security and appropriate human oversight matter.

Data and infrastructure

AI needs high-quality data and affordable computing power, including for smaller companies and research teams. With data centres, I start from real demand: who will use them, for which projects and what value they will create. Technology, energy and economics have to be assessed together.

Innovation and talent

I connect research, education and practice so that new knowledge finds its way into products and services. I see a particular opportunity in physical AI, robotics and manufacturing. I care about AI literacy and about conditions that keep talent in Slovakia and attract more capable people.

Trust and rules

Rules should protect people and create predictable conditions for responsible innovation. I work on implementing European rules on AI and data in a way that is clear and workable in Slovak practice. Trust grows when people understand technology, can assess risks and know who is responsible.
